What an incredible treat after a hard year. Chalet le Cœur by Groupe PVG is the ultimate place to celebrate a wonderful moment with family and friends.
Located in the heart of La Clusaz this 178 m2 luxury chalet has its own private lift access (which is very practical with children and luggage) and the first impression when you enter is “wow!”.
The main living space is huge and impeccably decorated with spaces for everyone to relax. The children loved the soft area with lots of cushions and beanbags and its own TV. The beanbags proved very popular with Elio and we were happy to have a comfortable place to leave him while we unpacked. There is also plenty more seating with sofas and armchairs around the feature fireplace, and a large dining table.
We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and plenty of fruit juices and milk in the fridge as well as some staples including cereal and apero snacks.
The chalet is split over two floors and downstairs the bedrooms are just as impressive as the upstairs space. Jude and Alba quickly chose their bedroom which had cosy built-in bunk beds and a double bed while we installed Elio in the third bedroom. The master suite is beautiful and spacious and includes an en suite with double shower which is also a hammam!
The chalet is connected to the hotel and guests have direct access to the spa when the hotel is open.
Back upstairs and we decided to wrap up warm and have a glass of champagne on the terrace to enjoy the snow, followed by a delicious raclette from a local restaurant: Le Bistro.
The chalet is really a special place and its location means that you can easily access the slopes, the shops and restaurants and there is even an ice skating rink just opposite.
We had a wonderful time and it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday weekend.
