This place is a real gem and has saved us on many idle afternoons.

It’s well signposted and there is plenty of parking (which you have to pay for on departure). From there its a short walk to the main park which is free to access.

Once inside there is plenty to keep little ones busy including a small « zoo » area (don't expect giraffes and monkeys but there are some birds, pigs and goats to look at) and a large play area with lots of slides and climbing frames, as well as a selection of water games in the summer.

"This place is a real gem and has saved us on many idle afternoons."

There are also other paid activities such as water balls (you know those giant balls you get inside and roll around on water) which Jude loved ! There is also mini golf, a kind of bungee thing and ping pong plus lots more.

Inside they have a spacious restaurant selling a large selection of hot and cold food at reasonable prices. There is plenty of space to sit and to negotiaite the area with a pushchair for smaller babies. They also have high chairs. There is also a small indoor play area which Jude enjoyed.

The toilets are downstairs and there are a good number of them. The adult toilets were failry clean but the baby change area was less so. The nappy bin was overflowing and (as is often the case) the room smelt awful so we were in and out as fast as possible. This is about the only less than positive thing I can say about it.
