Morzine is a wonderful destination for children with plenty of activities to enjoy within a short distance.
Les Lindarets - Pushchair friendly
The children loves Les Lindarets which is also known as “goat village” where the goats roam freely around the place. You can even buy a bag of food (1€) to feed them if you wish. Drive very slowly when you cross the village as goats and children are everywhere.
Lac de Montriond - Pushchair friendly
We also visited the lac de Montriond, one of our favourite places with beautiful lake, a lovely walk and some nice places to stop for a drink of a bite to eat. There is also a dedicated swimming area in the lake as well as various other sports on offer.
Parc des Dérêches - Pushchair friendly
If you are looking for a great activity for all the family, it’s worth visiting Parc des Dérêches. We really loved this walk through the forest which was packed full of physical activities (parcours vita), horses, ponies and goats so there was plenty to keep the children interested. Within the park there is also an accrobranche facility. There is also a swimming-pool, a skate-park and a small football/basketball pitch.
There is so much to see and do, I think you could happily spend a couple of weeks in the area and not get bored. We came away feeling that we need to go again to continue our explorations.
